Welcome to the RA Gordon Antiques website.

Based in Hertfordshire, UK for more than a decade, RA Gordon Antiques is an antique furniture dealer dealing in good English mahogany furniture mainly of the Georgian, Regency and early Victorian periods, together with some elegant Edwardian Sheraton Revival pieces, complemented by prints, engravings, small collectables and decorative accessories.

During this time, the business has gained a successful reputation for being an antique furniture dealer offering friendly, personal service and an extensive collection of high quality, yet competitively priced stock. A selection of our stock can be viewed within the Woburn Abbey Antiques Centre at Woburn, Bedfordshire.

We hope you find our website interesting and useful and look forward to hearing from you.

Trading Policy

Much of our business is repeat business. We take pride in the honesty of our trading operations with all items being accurately dated and described, including details of any restoration or any changes that might have taken place during the lifetime of the piece.

Refund Policy

We strive to ensure that our stock is of the highest quality. To ensure that items can be purchased with complete confidence we offer an excellent M&S style 'no quibble returns policy'. A full refund will be given (less delivery costs) if the item proves unsuitable for any reason, providing that it is returned undamaged within 7 days.

Restoration Policy

For an antique to retain its character and value as an investment, we consider it important that pieces are not over-restored to the point where they look like reproductions. We believe in conservation rather than restoration and would undertake only the absolute minimum required to conserve a piece and bring it back to life. In addition, traditional methods and materials are used.

Please do not hesitate to ring if you have any questions regarding a piece or would like to obtain a delivery quote. Should you not see exactly what you are looking for, please do ring and discuss your requirements and we will do our best to find that perfect gift or elusive item for your collection.
