Victorian armchair with well carved solid rosewood
arm supports and cabriole legs with original brass casters.
The
buttoned horseshoe shaped back and serpentine fronted seat
are upholstered in an apricot silk woven damask by
the Gainsborough Silk Weaving Company.
This
comfortably proportioned
armchair is a very good quality, elegant piece ideal
for a drawing room or bedroom.
