Regency Tilt Top Centre Table
This is an attractive and elegant Regency tilt top table
in solid mahogany. The well figured
rectangular top with canted corners sits over a ring
turned pedestal with attractive acanthus carving at
the base on elegant scrolling tripod legs.
Overall, the table is in good condition for its age.
There are no cracks, breaks or repairs to the legs
or pedestal. However, there is some movement
to the top which is slightly uneven i.e. one corner
is slightly lower than the corner diagonally
opposite. This is visible only under close
scrutiny.
This is an elegant centre table with good rich colour and
patina.
