Octagonal Table
An
attractive Edwardian figured rosewood centre table.
The octagonal shaped top is inlaid with a central
marquetry panel and stringing in satinwood. The top
lies over a shallow frieze and square tapering legs
united by a shaped platform undertier.
There are
some old cracks to the undertier which are only
visible under close scrutiny.
This
striking piece with a good rich colour and patina
would make an ideal centre table for a
hallway.
