This is an elegant Victorian pembroke top work table in solid mahogany.  The  top with moulded edge and drop down flaps lies over a pair of frieze drawers with opposing dummy drawers, held on slender baluster turned legs and castors.

The worktable is in wonderful original condition, with no cracks, breaks or repairs anywhere, no warping and no evidence of woodworm, old or new.  The brass handles and castors are original. 

Although this worktable is around 150 years old, it has obviously been well looked after in its lifetime as it is in such excellent original condition with a good rich, glowing colour and patina.

Altogether an attractive and useful small worktable that could be used as an occasional wine table/lamp table or as a bedside cabinet.
