This is a charming small watercolour of  an idyllic rural landscape, signed by the artist E W Taylor and dated 1920.The watercolour is entitled WITLEY, Surrey, which could be the village or the name of the farmhouse itself. 

The  watercolour is very well painted and depicts the lovely old farmhouse in great detail within its rural setting with children playing in front and chickens roaming around.

The watercolour is in excellent original condition with no foxing blemishes, marks, tears or other damage. The original decorative gilt frame with anthemion mouldings is also in excellent condition.
