This is an elegant and attractive pair of solid mahogany chairs in a typically delicate Sheraton period design.

These bar back chairs have well carved lattice backs with fluted carving, set above stuff-over seats, that lie over slender tapering legs, which are also fluted.

The seats have been traditionally re-upholstered in horsehair and webbing and covered in an expensive fabric by Marvic in a neutral beige woven fabric overlaid with pale blue floral sprigs.  

The chairs are in good overall condition for their age.
